The excitement generated by the addition of the Mexicantown International Welcome Center and Mercado in our neighborhood is gaining momentum.

This long awaited dream is breathing new life into Mexicantown – an area that is already vibrant with people sharing our rich cultural heritage in local shops, restaurants and other businesses. The tenants in the Mexicantown International Welcome Center and Mercado will offer even more variety for both residents and visitors.

In order to ensure our continued growth and expansion, we have added to our staff this past year; and we’re excited about our upcoming plans. Without your continued support, this would not have been possible. Thank you for helping us to build the momentum in Mexicantown.

The past year in Mexicantown has been full of excitement – largely due to the construction of the Mexicantown International Welcome Center and Mercado.

We look forward to filling the buildings with lots of shops and businesses that will continue the momentum.

Mexicantown’s people are the key to our vibrant neighborhood, and we are continually involved with those issues that affect our residents. That is why we are concerned with proposals for expansion of the Ambassador Bridge, involved in planning for a safe and efficient border with Canada, and active with current immigration issues.

With your continued support we know that our plans for continued cultural and economic growth in Mexicantown will be fulfilled. We look forward to working with you in the upcoming year.
